Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Small files a site stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all; the rest are optional and we only set them if you agree.

Strictly necessary — always on

These make the site function. They do not need your consent, and you cannot turn them off without breaking the site.

Purpose Set by
Remembering what is in your basket WooCommerce
Keeping you signed in to your account WordPress
Security and fraud prevention during checkout Our payment provider
Remembering your cookie choices Our consent tool

Analytics

These tell us which pages people look at and where they give up, so we can fix what is not working.

Tool Provided by What it does Cookies Kept for
Google Analytics 4 Google Counts visits, the pages viewed, items added to the basket and purchases _ga, _ga_* Up to 2 years
Microsoft Clarity Microsoft Heatmaps and replays of how pages are used, so we can see where the site is confusing. Anything typed into a form field is masked and never recorded _clck, _clsk, CLID Up to 1 year

How consent works. In the UK, the EU, Norway and Switzerland, Google Analytics and Google Ads set no cookies until you accept them, and Microsoft Clarity runs without cookies until then. Elsewhere these tools run by default. Wherever you are, choosing Reject All, or switching a category off in Cookie settings, stops it: Clarity is not loaded at all and its cookies are deleted, and Google stops setting or reading cookies for that purpose.

Marketing

These let us measure whether our advertising works.

Tool Provided by What it does Cookies Kept for
Google Ads Google Records whether a visit that came from one of our ads ended in a purchase. When you have agreed to marketing cookies, a scrambled (hashed) form of the email address and phone number from a completed order is sent so the purchase can be matched to the ad — the readable details never leave our site _gcl_au 90 days

The same consent rules apply as for analytics, above.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie settings link in the footer at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the basket and checkout working.
