1. Who you are buying from
Echoed is a trading name of Humax Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14920614, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom. You can reach us at info@echoedleather.com.
References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Humax Global Ltd trading as Echoed. References to “you” mean the person placing the order.
2. Our products are made to order
Every item is cut and stitched by hand after you order it. Nothing is taken from a shelf. This has two consequences worth reading before you buy:
- Dispatch takes up to 5 business days from the time your order is confirmed, before shipping time.
- Where you ask us to engrave a name, initials or a monogram, the item is made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged unless it is faulty. Section 4 and our Returns & Refunds policy explain this in full.
Leather is a natural material. Grain, tone and markings vary between hides, and between the item you receive and the photographs on this site. That variation is a property of full-grain leather, not a defect.
3. How a contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept your order — because an item is unavailable, because we cannot engrave the text you supplied, or because of an error in the price or description — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
4. Personalization
You choose the engraving text. Please check it carefully: we engrave exactly what you submit, including spelling and capitalisation. We cannot correct an error after production has begun.
We may refuse to engrave text that is unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s trade mark or other rights. If we refuse, we will contact you and either agree different text or cancel and refund the order.
You confirm that you have the right to use any name, initials or mark you ask us to engrave.
5. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include all applicable taxes. The price you see is the price you pay — nothing is added at checkout, and delivery is free..
Orders shipped outside the country of dispatch may attract import duties, taxes or customs handling fees on arrival. Except where stated at checkout, these are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us. Customs authorities, not us, decide what is charged.
6. Delivery
We ship to the address you give us. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; once a parcel is with the carrier its progress is outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photographs so we can deal with the carrier.
7. If something is wrong with your order
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances — and this applies to personalised items too.
8. Intellectual property
The photographs, text, designs and product names on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written consent.
9. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and may bring proceedings there.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
