Every piece in the catalogue can be engraved, and engraving is free. On the product page, choose your color, then type what you would like engraved in the Engraving field. Leave it blank if you would rather have the piece plain.
What you can engrave
- A first name — Elif, Thomas
- Initials or a monogram — J.R.H., AK
- A short word or date — Dad, Est. 2019, 12.06.2026
Up to 20 characters, including spaces and punctuation. We engrave exactly what you type, in the case you type it, so check spelling before you order — Micheal and Michael are both 7 characters and only one of them is right.
How it is done
Engraving is done by hand in our workshop after the piece is cut and stitched, as the last step before it is packed. On full-grain leather the mark sits slightly below the surface and darkens with the rest of the piece over time; it does not wear off, because it is not printed on.
Colors
Every piece comes in brown or green. Both are full-grain leather from the same hides; the difference is the dye, not the grade. Both develop a patina with use — brown deepens, green softens toward olive.
Engraving and returns
An engraved piece is made for one person and cannot be sold to anyone else, so it is exempt from the 14-day right to cancel that applies to standard purchases. This is standard for personalized goods under UK and EU consumer law, and it is stated again on the product page and at checkout before you pay. It never affects your rights if the piece arrives faulty, damaged or not as described — those are always put right. The full detail is in our Returns & Refunds policy.
